Here Begins a New York Dept. of Educ. Nightmare.

 SEPTEMBER 9, 2022 - FASHION INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY HIGH SCHOOL, NEW YORK CITY

We waited half a day to see a counselor to get McCann registered for school. We sat in the auditorium of the Fashion Institute of Technology High School Auditorium with a hundred other families. Little did we know that this was the beginning of a llllloooooonnnnngggg, drawn out, and horrible process the New York City Education Dept. was going to put us through. We thought waiting half a day in a hot auditorium was bad, but we didn't know anything! More horror stories to follow. 

Anyway, we've requested auditions at LaGuardia High School (the high school in the movie "Fame) and at The Special Music School at the Kauffman Center. We will see what happens (foreshadowing: this will not go smoothly.)
